Sculptural Visions – 500 Sculptures in 5 Years

Sculptural Visions is Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site’s annual celebration of sculpture in all its forms.  For a five year run between 2008 and and 2012, I coordinated a free assemblage workshop in partnership between AVA Gallery and Art Center and Saint-Gaudens. The program, where community members of all ages and abilities could spend the afternoon making sculptures from the curious and wonderful materials provided, resulted in 500 sculptures being produced. In 2012, everyone took home their completed works.

This Public Art Project was funded, in part, by a grant from the James Tasker Covered Bridges Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation — Upper Valley Region. Thank you.
