100+ Greeting Cards for the Upper Valley Haven

Social Practice Linoleum Cut Greeting Cards Donation

In the spring of 2014, participants in Linocut and a Public Art Project! class with Josh Yunger at AVA Gallery and Art Center learned linoleum cut printmaking techniques while making greeting cards.

In the spirit of community, every participant donated cards from their print run to the Upper Valley Haven.

The Upper Valley Haven is a non-profit, private organization that serves people struggling with poverty by providing food, shelter, education, service coordination, and other support.

The cards were freely given to people temporarily staying at the Haven and were used by the staff to thank community members for their donations.
